Where is Bullards Bar Reservoir?
Bullards Bar Reservoir is located on Old Marysville Road, halfway
between Dobbins, CA and Camptonville, CA in the heart of the Northern California Gold Country.
How do you get here?
From the Bay Area / Sacramento:
- Take Highway 80 East to Highway 5 North. Watch for the
signs to take Highway 99/70 into Marysville.
- As you enter Marysville on Highway 99/70, stay to the right as you
will soon be turning right on 9th Street and left on B Street to get around Ellis Lake.
- Stay in the right lane. Turn right on East 12th Street to access
Highway 20 East towards Grass Valley.
- Stay on Highway 20 East for about twelve miles.
- Turn left at the Browns Valley Chevron gas station onto
Marysville Road (Yuba Co. E21).
- Follow E21 twelve miles to E20 - Old Marysville Road, turn
right at the Willow Glen Restaurant and drive fourteen miles to the Bullards Bar Dam- you can't miss it.
From the Reno Area:
- Take Highway 80 West to Highway 20 towards Grass Valley.
- Just as you reach Nevada City, turn right - North on Highway
49 -towards Downieville.
- Drive approximately 21 miles and turn left on E20 - Old Marysville
Road. Bullards Bar Dam is only 6 miles away.
